Data deletion instructions

Last updated: 4 September 2026. TikTok users who connected an account to CloseBoard can request that we delete data obtained through TikTok APIs and related CloseBoard records.

How to request deletion

1. Email bunsble@gmail.com from the email associated with your CloseBoard or TikTok connection. Use the subject line CloseBoard data deletion.
2. Include the TikTok username/handle and, if you have it, the CloseBoard account name.
3. We will disconnect TikTok tokens, delete stored analytics for that connection, and confirm by email. We aim to complete this within 14 days.

What we delete

Access tokens, refresh tokens, TikTok user identifiers we stored, and video insight records pulled via the official API for that connection. Server logs may persist for a limited period for security.

What we cannot delete

Content that remains on TikTok itself. To delete videos or your TikTok account, use TikTok’s own settings. If you only want to stop sharing, revoke CloseBoard inside TikTok’s app permissions as well.
